Bob & Pam Loomis kept 50% interest in this bull. He was weaning age when we picked him up. After watching him grow, I can see why they kept half interest in him. He was a paint patterned brindle color as a calf. The brindle color is real prominent on him now, but he still throws a lot of red and white paint patterns. He was 80" TTT before he was five years old. Actualy, he was the first 80" bull in the longhorn breed to have an 80" dam and an 80" sire. He is very gentle and a lot of times he is the first animal in the pen when we work his pasture. He just leads his girls on in. Because of his gentle nature, my Dad nick named him "Sleepy". If I had to pick one thing about him that really wows me - it would be his size. It is hard to explain how tall and long his frame is. He really is a gentle giant.

Bob & Pam have him every other year. We swap back each year at the Horn Showcase. I guess I have always liked the big brindle bulls with fast horn growth. RR Sweet Brindle Dust certainly fits that mold. This year, when we swap, Bob & Pam will take RR Sweet Brindle Dust and breed him for a year. He has no idea how good life will get for him this fall.
